BRACY

STORY

Gray Bracy

My name is Gray Bracy and I'm a UX Designer that specializes in problem-solving and optimizing for software interfaces. I pride myself in my work as an independent designer, researching methods of improving business performance and utilizing business resources more effectively.

I have also worked as a freelance Web Designer, and in my time freelancing I pay special attention to the problems and needs of my clients and the fields they navigate. In the process, I have learned the importance of speaking in their language, so to speak.

I first became interested with design in high school when I took a multimedia design class. Two assignments in that class still stick in my mind to this day: the 1st being an album cover re-design with pencil and paper, and the 2nd being a brand logo re-design using Adobe Photoshop. This class single-handedly lead to me applying to CSU Long Beach and pursuing a design-related degree. Unfortunately I wasn't a very great student in a university setting so I ended up re-learning much of the industry standard software many years after graduation.

And now I am here, restarting all my work while using as inspiration all of the writers, bloggers, books, videographers, peers, etc. that I have discovered and connected with since graduation.
